Default Colossus Build

This is build that my friend made that he wants me to post here. He calls it the "Colossus" build because of the heavy damage buffing and healing on one player. Here's the build:

1 Warrior/Monk with

12 Swordsmanship
At least 9 Tactics
At least 9 Smiting Prayers

Strength of Honor
Balthazar's Spirit
Bonetti's Defense
Galrath/Silverwing Slash
Pure/Jaizhenju Strike
Seeking Blade
Final Thrust
Hundred Blades/Resurrection Signet (I highly recommend the signet, use Hundred Blades only if you and your team is comfortable with this build)

3 Monk/Anything with

12 Smiting Prayers
At least 8 Healing Prayers
Divine Favor Optional

Strength of Honor
Judge's Insight
Zealot's Fire
Smite Hex
Three Healing Spells of your choice
Resurrection Signet/ Healing Spell (Remove Res Sig only if you're sure that you can do without)

The last two party members should be a pure healer and a trapper or spirit spammer. Any build that works well will do just fine.

Usage:

In stages where you just have to kill everything else, stay in your starting base. Have the smiting monks and the warrior activate their enchantments. Then have the warrior walk up to the entrance to your base. Make the trapper/spirit spammer lay traps or summon spirits all around the warrior so that enemies can't get through. Then place the monks at the farthest point from the base entrance so that they won't get hit that much. Have the ranger hang around the middle of your base so that he/she can replace traps/spirits quickly. When there are one or two teams left, you can leave your base. Make sure that your monks are away from danger. When you encounter an enemy team, have your ranger set up around the monks, but not too close. Your warrior will do most of the killing, but make sure that your ranger and monks are giving support damage.

In stages with altars that you have to hold, head immediately for the altar after getting the enchantments straight. If there are already enemies there, have your ranger set up around the monks. Have the warrior do most of the battling. Once you hold the altar, have your monks surround the Ghostly Hero and have the ranger set up around them again. You warrior should stand where most enemies will come from. Once again, make sure that the monks and ranger are also dealing damage.

In relic stages, just have your ranger set up around the entrances to your base. Have your warrior take the enemy's relic solo. If the enemy is powerful, be sure that the warrior brings one of the monks for healing. As long as you get one point and the enemy gets none, you win.

That's the build. All credit goes to my friend for making this up. Note: This build has been tested. It works moderately well. Builds that you should try to avoid are Enchantment Removal builds, heavy defense builds, and heavy AoE Spell damage groups.

Hundred blades?
Elite optional on sword warrior?
Bonetti's defence?
Smiters without AoE, that run healing?
Strength of honour stacks?
3 "smiters" and 1 target to smite off of?

;S

I would reccomend doing Sever/Gash/Final Thrush on the warrior, take out bonettis, redo the smiters' skillbars.

Four copies of Strength of Honor, one character that uses a weapon. Three copies of Judge's Insight, one character that uses a weapon. It's strange, but I get the uncanny sense that this build does most of its damage through wanding (or the mistaken idea that the SoH's will stack and make the Warrior Quadruple super uber). Two different maintained enchantments on a warrior primary are sharing space with seeking blade, a moderately spammable and fairly mediocre energy attack. The Warrior is carrying Bonetti's Defense, presumably as energy management. Your Warrior's Elite is another energy based attack, and you suggest swapping it out for a rez sig. Your Monks have no Elite, unless it is one of the three 'heals of choice' you haven't bothered to name. Zealot's Fire will do absolutely nothing with the Monk's spells that have named, and is presumably meant to work with those mysterious heal spells of choice. Conditions are handled by the pure heal monk, or perhaps it's a Martyr trapper.
This build is generally ineffective. The warrior's damage output is completely killed by blind, and aside from wanding ("...but make sure that your ranger and monks are giving support damage."), there's not much the rest of the build can do for kills.

Your warrior monk seriously lacks mending, also I suggest adding Healing Hands as his elite ( you werent sure about hundred blades, so this might be nice alternative) . Monks should definatly use frenzy ( warrior secondary), so the wanding does more damage per second. Otherwise, good build, I bet you're going to win a lot with Colossus.
